the sexual assault support centre is amazing.

the training is a huge time commitment, but it's worth it. i never realised how racism, ableism, heterosexism, homophobia, sexism, etc., are entrenched into our legal system, our constitution, and our bodies.

i knew it was all out there, but there's something that talking about it for 6 hours two days in a row does to you. it not only heightens awareness, but produces anger which (hopefully) leads to activism.

volunteering for them tomorrow at this wellness fair - should be good. amazing people, amazing subject.. good times. (sort of.)

i need sex. :/
