why is it that, on any given day, i can't get to bed before 5 a.m., but if i have a paper to write, i want to fall asleep at 11?

ah, nevermind. at least i have another whole day to work on this. not due 'til wednesday. thank the lord.

ps. can anyone tell me why i can't get the positioning of the text on top? and why, on longer entries, the right column is centered in relation to the left? i'd appreciate it. thanks.
